Chime Connect

Chime Connect is a relaxing pair-link puzzle where every link rings a chime. Tap two matching tiles to link them. The link can be up to three straight lines (two turns) through empty space, and it may run around the outside of the board. Linked pairs clear with a glowing beam, and quick links in a row climb the scale.

From level 5 the boards start to shift: after every link the tiles fall, float, slide or squeeze to the middle, so think a step ahead.

Click or tap two tiles with the same symbol. Keyboard: H hint, S shuffle, P or Esc pause.

The chimes come from Crisp Puzzle, a pack of 100 match-3 and puzzle sound effects with tuned note ladders (free demo + sampler), and the UI sounds from Crisp UI.

How it was made

The code, art and sounds were made with Claude (AI): the tiles and symbols are drawn in code and the sounds are synthesized from scratch. No AI image or audio generation models were used.
