Chime Gems

Chime Gems is a calm, musical match-3. Swap neighbouring gems to line up three or more, and every match rings out a note, so chaining combos climbs a little melody.

• 50 hand-tuned levels on a winding map: reach score targets, collect gems, crack ice and drop the bells to the bottom
• Specials: match 4 for a line blast, an L or T shape for a bomb, and 5 in a row for a rainbow gem that clears a whole colour. Swap two specials together for a big combo
• Boosters: a hammer to smash one gem and a shuffle when you're stuck
• Up to three stars per level, progress saved automatically
• Plays with mouse or touch, on desktop and mobile

Controls

Click and drag (or click two neighbouring gems) to swap them. On touch screens, swipe a gem towards its neighbour.

How it was made

The code, art and sounds were made with Claude (AI): the gems are drawn procedurally in code and the sounds are synthesized from scratch. No AI image or audio generation models were used.
